Projection mapping work by zakuro

The Tokugawa shogunate of Edo built 260 years of peace and prosperity.
One culture that blossomed during that era was ukiyo-e—pictures of the floating world—which captured vivid moments of life, detached from the clamor of everyday existence.

This work uses the unique compositions and colors of ukiyo-e as motifs, unfolding its imagery across the canvas of Zojoji Temple, a place connected to the Tokugawa family.
It vividly brings to life the essence of beauty that transcends time, illuminated by modern light and technology.
Experience the aesthetic sensibility inherent in Edo culture through a visually immersive experience.

Digital Kakejiku work by Akira Hasegawa

Digital art that transforms nature, buildings, and even passersby into canvases using multiple projectors "Digital Hanging Scrolls."
Created by Akira Hasegawa, also the founder of projection mapping.
The imagery, slowly changing in sync with the Earth's rotation, expresses the Japanese spirit of nature's transience and impermanence, much like a traditional Japanese hanging scroll.
His work has spread worldwide to countries like France and Germany, earning him international acclaim for fusing Japanese traditional beauty with innovative digital art.
